Marine Park Primary School

Equality Objectives Statement

At Marine Park Primary, we are committed to promoting educational equality and ensuring that every pupil, member of staff, parent, and guardian has fair access to opportunities, regardless of race, gender, disability, belief, religion, or socio‑economic background. We strive to foster a culture of inclusion and diversity where everyone connected to the school feels confident in their identity and able to participate fully in school life. We will monitor pupil achievement across all protected characteristics and use this information to provide targeted support, raise standards, and ensure that teaching remains inclusive.

We believe that diversity is a strength—one that should be respected, valued, and celebrated by everyone who learns, teaches, or visits our school. We are committed to improving equality of opportunity for under‑represented groups and to addressing discrimination identified within the Equality Act 2010 through our school practices and our engagement with parents and the wider community. This commitment drives us to remove barriers and expand opportunities for all, ensuring that every child and adult can fulfil their potential and enjoy a rich, inclusive school experience.

We recognise that achieving our equality objectives requires the active participation and support of the whole school community. We are committed to working in partnership with pupils, their families, and staff to ensure this happens effectively. Through our policies and everyday practice, we aim to create a positive, inclusive environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity to ensure that they feel they belong, are supported to achieve, and are able to thrive
